Pendleton and UGG Australia have done it again, this time in styles that honor America’s National Parks! The new collection for men and women features iconic UGG® boots and slippers paired with the historic National Park Stripe designs of Pendleton’s National Park blankets.
The limited-edition UGG® X Pendleton® Collection will be available at all UGG®concept stores in North America and Asia, online at UGG.com, pendleton-usa.com and at select wholesale partners beginning August 15.
You probably recognize the stripe patterns from our Yellowstone and Yosemite blankets, shown here in photos by two of our #pendle10park explorers; Corey Jenkins (@ourfreeways) and Allie Taylor (@alliemtaylor).
The boots, like our blankets, are part of our initiative to honor and support the National Park Service in its mission to preserve America’s treasures, our National Parks.
See our selection here: Pendleton x UGG Australia. We would love it if you bought from our site, but we have already sold through some styles and colors. So please head to UGG Australia to find anything you don’t see in our selection. And please don’t wait. The collection is honestly flying out the door. And we are not supposed to play favorites, but this style is our favorite.
That’s how you walk the dog, people.
Wool, meet wool. If there were ever a natural partnership, it’s this one. Our 2014 collaboration with UGG Australia was an immediate hit and a nearly immediate sell-through, so we’re excited to bring you another collaboration for this holiday season.
We talked about the shared heritage of UGG and Pendleton in a post last year, which you can read here: 2014 UGGs & PWM. Both companies have roots in Southern California’s surf culture, a point nicely illustrated by this display at the UGG Australia HQ..
Our new pattern, exclusive to this collection, reflects this shared history. Inspired by the place where the mountains meet the sea, this banded design has mountain peaks and rolling waves in natural hues. Here it is on the loom at our USA mill.
There’s something for everyone; scuffs, mocs, lace-ups, slip-ons, and the classic UGG in short and tall. There’s an exciting lace-up Adirondack waterproof boot that’s going wild on Pinterest for us. There’s even a baby bootie. JUST LOOK AT IT!!
(Sorry, but that’s one cute little bootie.)
We’re rounding out the offering with vests for both men and women, and assortment of well-crafted bags.
Most of the footwear and bags and both the vests are available at Pendleton.usa.com, including this beautifully constructed women’s vest.
Exclusive to Uggaustralia.com are two pieces for the home; a fleece-backed throw and an oversized pillow. We have to show them to you, even though we aren’t carrying them; they are simply beautiful.
We’re garnering some nice recognition in the press, with more to come. You can read about us in GQ and Town & Country. Last year’s collection went fast, so don’t wait to make your choice. You don’t want this one to run away from you!
We would like to thank everyone who made our collaboration with UGG Australia such a success; the idea-people in our sales teams, the designers and manufacturers from both companies. Most of all we want to thank consumers for reacting with warmth and enthusiasm to this pairing! It was amazing!
We are saying thanks with some beautiful shots of Amy Patterson of Amy Patterson Fitness doing yoga in her new boots.
Beautiful poses, great strength, and the Oregon countryside.
This collaboration was such a success, who knows what the future will hold? We will find out…down the road.

Our newest project with UGG Australia has been received with excitement across America and Europe. Our virgin wool and UGG’s superior sheepskin are adding up to a beautiful collaboration. It’s a natural pairing, all the moreso because both brands have deep ties to Southern California surf culture.
Pendleton goes back to the inception of the surf scene, as we’ve written about while discussing the Beach Boys in their earliest incarnation as the Pendletones. In the late ’50s, before the wetsuit was invented, California surfers wore trunks and a Pendleton shirt over a layer of petroleum jelly to stay warm on the waves. On shore, surfers wore the same Pendleton shirts over khakis, and a fashion trend was born. The Beach Boys dressed like all the boys on the beach, and their signature shirt remains one of our best-selling today.
For UGG, the story began in 1978 when Aussie surfer Brian Smith landed in Southern California with a bag of sheepskin boots and a lot of hope that his styles would catch on in Southern California. The beaches of SoCal had long been an epicenter of a relaxed, casual lifestyle and Smith’s sheepskin boots were a hit..

UGG traveled to Portland to select their fabric, and chose our ‘Coyote Butte’ pattern. A million years of history are recorded in the tepee-shaped rock formations known as Coyote Butte, found in the Paria Canyon-Vermilion Cliffs Wilderness of Utah and Arizona.
The collection has seven styles; two boots, two booties and two mocs, and one handbag.
UGG and Pendleton pieces are sold at pendleton-usa.com, US and Asia UGG Australia concept stores and on UGGAustralia.com.
Here are a few shots from the UGG concept store in New York. Love it!
